Why do I have to quarantine?
- Quarantine is when you stay home for 14 days after being exposed to COVID-19.
- At home, try to stay away from others that live with you and wear a mask.
- If you have been exposed to someone that has COVID-19, there is the potential that you can get sick.
- By staying home (quarantining), you help protect your friends, co-workers, and family from getting sick.
Did you know that you can infect others in the 2-3 days prior to you starting to feel sick?
If I do feel symptoms, what are they likely to be?
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
